Northeast Bradford Named in National “Best High Schools” Rankings

Rome, PA—In the recently released “Best High Schools” national ranking by US News & World Report, Northeast Bradford Junior/Senior High School earned a silver medal for its performance and college readiness. It was one of 6,041 public schools to receive recognition, and of the 10.3 percent of schools receiving a silver medal. The school ranks 54 in Pennsylvania, and 1,740 nationally.

“This ranking is a testament to the hard work and dedication that we are blessed with at Northeast Bradford by our teachers, students, and staff. With all the changes that occurred over the last year our amazing teachers continued to ensure the children of our community were served.  It is an honor to be a part of this school.” said William Clark, Northeast Bradford School District Superintendent.

The rankings are based on data from more than 22,000 public high schools nationwide. Awards are determined by a school’s performance on state assessments in reading and math, proficiency rates for disadvantaged students, graduation rates, and college readiness.
