Student film wins another award!

“Park Problems,” the claymation film made by NEB gifted students in 2016, has won another award! This time it won a prize in the Endless Mountains Film Festival Competition. The claymation film was entered this summer and was awarded the prize for Best Film in the Youth Category.

The four students who created the film, Samantha Burnett, Emily Susanj, Jace Nichols and Kate O’Connor, have their names engraved on a trophy that will be permanently displayed. In addition, a cash prize will be divided among the four.

Mr. Pilvelis, the NEB art teacher who helped the students create the prize-winning film, said that he’s “incredibly proud” of all four of the young film makers. This recognition marks the fourth award the short film has won. The film which has been viewed more than 700 times on YouTube.
