NEB graduate and author visits schools, March 26

Author Annette Whipple

1994 NEB graduate and children’s nonfiction author Annette (Evans) Whipple will visit Northeast Bradford Schools on March 26, 2018. During her time at the Elementary School, she’ll share her programs, “Bugs and Blooms” and “Insects Make WHAT?!” Her presentation at the High School will inspire students to write, and how to live with enthusiasm, purpose and integrity.

Following graduation from Northeast Bradford, Annette attended Kutztown University and received a Bachelor of Science in elementary education. She went on to teach elementary and middle school students as an environmental educator and classroom teacher. She has published three nonfiction books for elementary students, and has two more books set to publish in the fall. Her published books include Insects as Producers, Flowers and Soil.

She lives with her husband and three children in southeastern Pennsylvania where she enjoys eating warm chocolate chip cookies and reading when she is not researching and writing. Learn more about Annette, her publications and programs at
