Students compete in national coding competition

On Saturday, April 7, two NEB students competed in the Cyber Robotics Coding Competition (CRCC) held in Washington, DC at the USA Science and Engineering Festival (the largest STEM Festival in the country). Madison Jochum and Jazmine Elliot placed 11th out of 22 participating teams. The students represented the NEB team of 11 7th and 8th graders who attended the CoderZ Boot Camp in coding and competed the Week of Code to qualify for the national competition. The CRCC competition, which included more than 2,500 students from five states, was sponsored by Intelitik. Congratulations to our team for their stellar effort!
