High School Daily Bulletin, May 21

Varsity and JH Track team members: Please return all uniforms to Mrs. Morris by tomorrow. They MUST be in a bag with your name ON THE BAG!

Students in grades 7-11 who are interested in cross country next year, sign-ups are in the front office.

Athletic physicals will be held on Monday June 4, 2018 at the high school. The physicals are scheduled from 9 am- 12 pm, and the cost is $17.50. Paperwork can be picked up in the Nurse’s office or the Front Office, or downloaded here: PIAA CIPPE. Completed paperwork and payment must be turned in by Friday, May 25.

The Pink Panther 5k will be held on Saturday, June 2. Registration is from 8:30-9:30 am, and the race starts at 10 am. There is a $20 fee and the first 25 people registered will get a free shirt. The race is sponsored by The National Honor Society. Any questions, please see Aaron Boss.

This month is Police Appreciation Month. Karli Moyer and Kiah Russell will collect donations for the Police to show our appreciation for all they do. All donations will be collected in the cafeteria.

From the Guidance Office

Students interested in working at the school this summer, there are Bradford County Action applications available in the guidance office.

Attention classes of 2019 and 2020: Lackawanna College is offering summer classes at the reduced rate of $300 per class while 2018 graduates will still get the heavily reduced price of $599 per 3-credit class. This is a great opportunity and more information is available in the guidance office.

First Citizens Bank is looking for juniors or seniors who plan to attend college in the area of business who are interested in possibly working at First Citizens Bank over the summer and during breaks. Stop by the guidance office for more information.

Any junior who is considering attending Elmira College, please stop by the Guidance Office.

Students interested in pursuing work in a skilled trade field are encouraged to apply for the Work Ethic Scholarship Program, sponsored by the mikeroweWORKS Foundation and the PA Chamber Educational Foundation.
