Three students from Northeast Bradford High School (NEB) recently attended the 2018 Hugh O’Brian Youth (HOBY) Leadership Conference, which provides leadership training, service-learning, and motivation-building experiences to high school students. NEB faculty and staff recommended Nicholas Marino, Jordan Shumway and Luke Tice to attend this year’s conference; and the NEB Student Government Association sponsored two of the participants.

Founded in 1958, HOBY’s mission is to inspire and develop the global community of youth and volunteers to a life dedicated to leadership, service, and innovation. HOBY programs are conducted annually throughout the United States, serving local and international high school students to inspire a lifelong dedication to improving the lives of others. Due to the selfless efforts of volunteers and the contributions of generous donors, more than 10,000 students participate in HOBY programs annually.
