NEB receives grant for after school, summer learning programs

Northeast Bradford School District (NEB) is pleased to announce that it is the recipient of the 21st Century Community Learning Centers Grant Cohort 10, through the Pennsylvania Department of Education and the United States Department of Education. This is a five-year grant totaling $1.6 million.

The purpose of the state and federally funded competitive grant is to increase access to quality after school and summer learning programs that provide opportunities for academic enrichment for students and opportunities for family engagement.

NEB will use grant funds to provide students with engaging activities and experiences, addressing topics such as literacy, math, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math), health and wellness, physical education, agriculture, financial literacy and life skills, drug and alcohol prevention, college and career readiness, and high school credit recovery.
