School Cafeteria Employee, Part-time

The Northeast Bradford School District has two openings for a part time cafeteria employee. This is a school year position and a high school diploma or equivalent and clearances are required by law. Candidate must be able to handle a wide variety of people and duties simultaneously with frequent interruptions; must possess mathematical skills including the ability to use weights and measures with the highest degree of accuracy. Candidate must be thorough, have good organizational skills, be neat, be able to work as a member of a team, be cooperative, congenial, service-oriented and have the ability to develop positive rapport with staff members, students, faculty, administrators, and public.

Salary and benefits will be according to the current support staff contract.

Paraprofessional, Part-time

The Northeast Bradford School District has an opening for a Part-time Paraprofessional. Duties include supporting and assisting teachers in the instruction, administration and preparation of materials for students while assisting and monitoring students. Two-year college degree or two years of higher education. CPR and First Aid certification are required or must be willing to be certified. Clearances as required by law.

Must possess a knowledge and ability to maintain proper classroom discipline in all situations including emergency situations that require prompt action. Must have an interest in working with children and be able to provide support and supervision for students that result in creating the most appropriate learning environment possible. Must know after training how to operate assistive devices necessary for student interaction with learning. Must have basic computer skills.  Must have good organizational skills, be able to work as a member of a team, have the skills to deal with people, be cooperative, congenial and service-oriented.

Health Room Assistant, Part-time

Northeast Bradford School District has an opening for a part-time Health Room Assistant. This is a 10-month school year position and valid Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Nursing Licenses (RN or LPN) necessary and clearances as required by law.

Compensation, work schedule and other conditions of employment will be in accordance with the current support staff contract and applicable policies.

Cross Country Head Coach and Assistant Coach

Northeast Bradford School District seeks a Cross Country Head Coach and Assistant Coach for the upcoming 2018-2019 season. Primary job duties include, but are not limited to: overseeing the Cross Country program; facilitating practices and events; coordinating with the Athletic Director to set up facilities for all activities; complying with all PIAA rules, and NEB policies, Code of Conduct and regulations; maintaining and accounting for equipment and uniforms; and coordinating athletic awards programs with the Athletic Director and Principal.

These positions report to the Athletic Director. Salary is $417/week during the activity season for the head coach and $334/week for the assistant coach.

School Psychologist

Northeast Bradford School District is accepting resumes for a School Psychologist for the 2018-2019 school year.  Successful candidates will be responsible for consultation, educational and psychological evaluation and diagnosis of children with school related problems; identifying exceptional children; confer with appropriate family, school, and ancillary personnel; prescribe appropriate educational programs and perform those functions deemed necessary for the implementation of programs for exceptional children; implement the evaluation and reevaluation process as required in the Special Education Standards and Regulations (Chapters 342, 14 and 15). Candidate will also serve as an advocate for children with the goal of helping all students learn and succeed.

School Psychologist Certificate for Pennsylvania is required and a Master’s Degree with advanced professional training in child and adolescent development, counseling, learning theory, academic and behavioral interventions, consultation and assessment is preferred.

This is a salaried administrative position having 206 work days, which includes twenty (20) additional days for summer work. Compensation, benefits and other conditions of employment will be in accordance with compensation plan and applicable policies.

Junior High Wrestling Coach

Northeast Bradford School District seeks a Junior High Wrestling Coach for the upcoming 2018-2019 season. Primary job duties include, but are not limited to: directing practices and games; complying with all PIAA rules, and NEB policies, Code of Conduct and regulations; and maintaining equipment and uniforms.

This position reports to the Athletic Director. Salary is $1,100 paid at the end of the activity season.
