Dear Northeast Bradford Families,
We would like to inform you that last night we were notified we have our first positive case of Covid-19 in our school district. We are confident that we are continuing to provide a safe and healthy environment for our students and staff and we are confident that our cleaning processes are continuing to work.
The district has reached out, and is fully committed to working with the Department of Health in order to ensure we continue to provide a safe environment. The department of health is advising us that there does not appear to be any direct school exposure. The policies we have in place continue to work to keep the district safe. Be advised the school will not be contacting anyone. If the department of health deems that you or a family member are a close contact, they will contact you through their contact tracing program.
We would like to take this opportunity to remind you that everyone can do their part to keep our schools and our community safe. The following actions can be taken by all members of the community to help stop the spread:
- Wear your mask
- Wash your hands with soap and water often
- Social distance whenever possible
- Take your temperature prior to leaving your home
- Stay home when you are sick
- Contact your primary care provider if you are feeling ill
It is important to stress that our schools are safe and we are continuing to remain open. We will continue to monitor the situation and will update the community if anything changes.
