Northeast Bradford School District

The following students competed at the Scholarship Challenge this year: Lauryn Jones, Julia Brown, Jazmine Elliott, and Maddie Jochum. They didn’t come away with a win, but proudly represented the Panthers.

The students in 6th grade read the story Stone Soup and today they made their own Stone Soup with everybody bringing in something to add to the soup.

NEB will be competing at the WATS/WAVR Scholarship Challenge on Saturday at 10 am. You can listen live on the radio at https://www.choice102.com/player/

Pi Day celebration is on March 15th. There will be a pi memorization contest. The person who memorizes the most digits of pi in each grade will win a free peanut butter pie! Sign-up sheets are located outside of the cafeteria, in the front office, and in all the math teacher's rooms. The contest will be held during AA in room 5/6 on 3/15. There will also be a silent pie auction held during the 3 L periods. Bids start at $3.00 and they increase by $0.50 increments. Please bring your money the day of! Teachers will allow students to come back, only during the L periods, to check on their bids if they want to increase. Thank you!

Reminder: Tonight and tomorrow's varsity games are only accessible with a ticket purchased through Hometown Tickets. Please reach out to your athletes coach if you have not received information about tickets. The normal NEB tickets are not valid for tonight's game.

Dear Panther Nation, Due to recent COVID-19 cases within the district, both the Northeast Bradford High School and Elementary campuses will be closed on Saturday, February 27, Sunday, February 28, and Monday, March 1, 2021. This closure of our buildings will allow for mitigation and cleaning to occur. No admittance will be permitted. Schools will re-open as normal on Tuesday, March 2. It's not too late to sign up for 3 NEW after school activities beginning in March! Digital Media Club will meet with Mrs. Perez and Mrs. Dale Tuesdays and Thursdays after school. (Fun projects in the works!) Cooking begins next Tuesday. Learn how to make snacks and meals from scratch! Rumor has it that Mrs. Middaugh will share her famous recipe for mac & cheese. Gardening will use the new school greenhouse to learn about plants and spend some time working outside on school gardens. (Will the snow ever melt?) Good Evening Panther Nation, This announcement is to inform you that the Northeast Bradford School District will remain in the remote learning model for Thursday and Friday. We will return to regular classes beginning Monday as scheduled. Our COVID-related closure is under control and anyone who has identified as a close contact has been notified by the Department of Health. Due to the potentially hazardous road conditions, we will not be delivering meals. Thank you for your continued patience and cooperation throughout this school year.

The Northeast Bradford School District will be sending breakfast and lunch out to students Wednesday, February 17th. The buses will be departing the school at 9:15 am. If you received food during the remote days in November, the bus will be stopping at your bus stop. Please keep a look out for your bus and meet it at your bus stop for your food delivery.

Junior/Senior High students need to log onto Focus and click "I'm present" as well as attend their scheduled classes online. Any issues please call Mr. Holmes.

Reminder: the district is on a two hour delay. Instruction will begin at 10am. Students and parents, please utilize SeeSaw in the Elementary and Google Classroom in the High School for updated class information.
