Panther Pride!
Today all of our Panthers throughout Northeast Bradford gathered around the elementary circle for the annual Hands Across Northeast! Eric Brink started Hands Across Northeast in 1986 as a way to help those in need in our area. This year his parents joined the Panther Community as Andy Boardman and Jeannie Gamble hosted our District wide celebration that brought in over $9,000 worth of donations! Thank you to our awesome hosts, Kylee and Kyle Snyder who donated a tree for each grade of the elementary school, everyone who donated food, gifts, money, and time, and all who came out to celebrate our amazing school and community! All Panther students in grades Kindergarten through 12th gathered around to sing carols, decorate the trees, and celebrate! We are proud of our small school with a big heart and this event shows the true spirit of school and community!

Yesterday, Mrs. Morris's gifted students, who are working on an environmental project, visited Loyalsock State Forest office in Sullivan County. THey learned about the history of foresting in PA and then went into the woods to look at problems that impact the trees in our area. The students were tasked with having to come up with potential solutions. NEB students were so innovative that they spoke with a plant specialist through DCNR about their suggestions. Eliot Murray will be following up with as part of his CSO action plan!
