National FFA Week! This week NEB celebrated National FFA Week! There were so many great events starting with the ACES Conference, Open House Night where students demonstrated their skills and showed off their projects, a week of great spirit days, after school activities for FFA members, a visit by the state officers and Tina Pickett, and a great pep rally! NEB students and staff are Panther Proud of the FFA members and their advisors, Mrs. Forrest and Mr. Robbins, for all their hard work, awesome skills, and drive to continue to learn and do great things at school and in the community!

Senior Shout Out! Senior Brody Bennett participates in cross country and track. He is part of the National Honor Society, is the Student Government Treasurer, and serves as class vice president. He plans to attend college upon graduation majoring in mechanical engineering.

Senior Shout Out! Senior Kaleb Keeney attends the Northern Tier Career Center for Building Construction. He plans to use his skill in the workforce upon graduation.

Senior Shout Out! Senior Hannah Berger plans to attend Wilson College majoring in Animal Science. She also has committed to play softball.

Panther Wrestlers were all in action yesterday! The junior high team wrapped up their season with three wrestlers on the podium! Varsity boys and girls each had three wrestlers make it to the podium and will advance to the next competition one step closer to Hershey! Congratulations to all the wrestlers and their coaches who have worked hard this season and continue to make us Panther Proud!

Senior Shout Out! Senior Jaedyn Fox plans to attend Wilkes University in the fall majoring in Elementary Education. She would like to be a kindergarten or first grade teacher. She also plans to continue her career as a cosmetologist.

Today, 8th grade students received their permission slips for the Career Day Field Trip scheduled for March 20th. Please write your child's name at the top of the form and then sign the form. Forms are due back in the school counseling office by Tuesday, February 18th.

Panther Proud moment! NEB Jr/Sr High Staff is holding a Secret Spirit Week this week. Staff members are enjoying participating in different spirit days. Students are enjoying guessing what the spirit days are. Monday was flannel day, Tuesday was anything but a cup day, today is Zoom wear. What will the rest of the week bring?
