Good Afternoon,
This is to notify parents and guardians that the scheduled lockdown drill has been completed for both the elementary and high schools. The drill was conducted this afternoon with the assistance of our local law enforcement and first responders. The district will use the information gathered from the drill to continue evaluating and improving our safety procedures. Please feel free to discuss the drill with your students, and as always, reach out to the building administration with any questions.

Este mensaje es para informar a los padres y tutores que el simulacro de cierre de emergencia programado se ha completado tanto en la escuela primaria como en la escuela secundaria. El simulacro se llevó a cabo esta tarde con la asistencia de las autoridades policiales locales y los primeros respondedores. El distrito utilizará la información obtenida del simulacro para seguir evaluando y mejorando nuestros procedimientos de seguridad. No dude en hablar con sus hijos sobre el simulacro y, como siempre, comunicarse con la administración escolar si tiene alguna pregunta.

Students from our Integrated Phys Ed Class went to Mt Pisgah today for kayaking, fishing, a picnic, and outdoor exploration! Students were accompanied by a few NEB student buddies and Mr. Otis. Students also had the opportunity to make new friends as Towanda's Integrated Phys Ed Class also spent the day outdoors at Mt. Pisgah!

Mr. Hakes' STEM class created drawable circuits using the Makey Makey App. Drawing flowers and robots, students learned how to complete the circuit to make music on their chromebooks through the Makey Makey App.




We are excited to announce that the Nook (snacks provided for students through CHOP) is officially open! High School students may get a pass to the Nook during AA time to pick up a snack for after school!
Per CHOP guidelines, the high school will no longer providing food for the weekends through the Backpack Program. This service will still be provided for NEB elementary students.

Ms. Naugle's fourth graders explored the topics of balance, support, mass, and gravity with today's "Apple Tower Challenge" in STEM class today.

Cavalcade of Bands is a wonderful showcase featuring marching band performances from all 8 schools in Bradford and Sullivan counties. This year, Northeast Bradford’s show is entitled:
“Heroes Assemble – Every Hero Needs a Theme Song, We Play Them All.”
Please come out and support our hardworking students as they show off everything they’ve been preparing since July!

Bradford-Sullivan Counties Outstanding Young Women Program will be held this Saturday, September 27th at 6:30 at the Towanda High School! Three Lady Panthers are participating, Eden Dewing, Leah Fries, and Kenzie Gardner! Be sure to get your tickets and share your Panther Pride on Saturday as these ladies share their amazing talents!




5th–6th Grade Ensemble!
Is your student interested in performing on stage this season? We’re inviting 5th and 6th graders to join the ensemble for the NEB musical. This is a beginner-friendly, age-appropriate experience with limited after-school rehearsals. Ever wondered what it takes to fly a drone? Our high school drone class teaches students real-world skills like hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, technical troubleshooting, and flight planning. It’s not just flying—it’s STEM in action and the future of technology taking off!
